Tripolo, Inc. is a US company based in Seattle, Washington, and incorporated in Delaware. When you book through Tripolo, your agreement is with Tripolo, Inc., under our Terms of Service.
China is one of the most rewarding places to travel, and one of the hardest to navigate on your own. Our goal is simple: give every traveler a local who speaks their language, so menus, metro maps and payment apps become part of the adventure.
What that means for you
• Your payment goes to a US company: Tripolo, Inc. processes your payment, appears on your card statement and handles your refunds.
• Clear, published rules: cancellations, refunds, reviews and safety are covered by our Platform Rules, in plain English. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies to your booking.
• Support in English: contact us anytime at support@tripolo.com.
About our guides
Guides are independent locals who provide their services directly to you. They follow the same Safety and Conduct Standards you do.
• Verified before they go live: we check every guide's profile and ID before their page is published.
• They set their own rates: you see the full price for your guide's time, fees included, before you book.
• Pick the right fit: each profile shows the languages a guide speaks, with an intro video so you can choose who suits you.
