Tripolo is committed to connecting travelers with reliable, knowledgeable, and professional local guides. To help ensure a safe and trustworthy experience, every guide on Tripolo goes through a verification and review process before they can accept bookings. 

1. Identity verification 

Each guide must complete identity verification using official documentation. This helps confirm that guides are who they claim to be and establishes a foundation of trust for travelers. 

2. Profile completeness and review 

Before a guide’s profile becomes visible to travelers, Tripolo reviews key information to ensure it meets platform standards. This includes: 

• A clear profile photo 

• Languages spoken 

• Areas of expertise and service regions 

• Introductory video 

• Description of their guiding style 

Profiles are reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and professionalism. 

3. Introductory video 

Every guide is required to upload an intro video. This helps travelers understand: 

• The guide’s communication style 

• Language proficiency 

• Personality and presentation 

• Confidence and clarity 

The video gives you a better sense of who you will be meeting in person. 

4. Ongoing monitoring 

Tripolo continuously monitors guide performance through: 

• Traveler reviews 

• Cancellation or no-show patterns 

• Reliability and communication behavior 

• Reports submitted by travelers 

Guides who do not meet Tripolo’s standards may be removed from the platform. 

5. Professional expectations for guides 

Guides are expected to: 

• Communicate promptly and clearly 

• Confirm bookings within 24 hours 

• Arrive on time and follow the agreed itinerary 

• Provide safe, respectful, and culturally aware service 

• Represent Tripolo’s values and quality expectations 

Tripolo may take action—including warnings, temporary suspension, or removal—if a guide does not follow these expectations.
