We combine technology, clear standards, and human oversight to help ensure that every trip is safe, comfortable, and enjoyable.
How Tripolo helps keep you safe
Verified, trusted local guides
Every guide on Tripolo completes identity verification and a profile review before they are approved to offer services. Guides share intro videos, areas of expertise, and background information to help you understand who you are booking.
Secure communication and payment
All communication should take place through Tripolo’s in-app messaging, and all payments must be completed within the Tripolo App. This keeps your personal information private and allows Tripolo to assist if anything unexpected happens.
Your guide’s booking fee is also held securely and only released after your trip is completed.
Clear expectations and platform standards
Tripolo sets expectations for guide professionalism, communication, and reliability. We monitor guide performance through reviews, cancellation patterns, and ongoing traveler feedback.
Support during Early Access
During Early Access, you can contact Tripolo Customer Support in-app. Our team will review your message and follow up as soon as possible.

While Tripolo provides tools and safeguards, your awareness and good judgment also contribute to a secure experience. This includes:
Meeting your guide in a public place at the start of your trip
Keeping communication inside the Tripolo App
Staying aware of your surroundings during your visit
