How to Book a Guide

Booking a guide through Tripolo is simple and secure. Follow the steps below to find the right guide and complete your reservation. 

 

1. Set your trip details 

After logging into the Tripolo App, start by entering: 

  • Your destination 

  • Travel dates 

  • Number of travelers 

These details help Tripolo recommend guides who match your plans and availability. 

 

2. Explore guide options 

Tripolo will show you a list of verified local guides based on your trip information. 

You can: 

  • Watch intro videos 

  • Read guide profiles and specialties 

  • Review languages spoken 

  • Check ratings and traveler feedback 

If you have questions, you can message guides before booking. 

 

3. Choose your guide 

Select the guide who best matches your travel style, interests, and needs. 

You can also save multiple guides to your Favorites and compare them before making a decision. Favorites make it easier to revisit profiles, videos, and reviews as you choose the guide that feels right for your trip. 

 

4. Complete your booking 

Once ready, tap Book Now to confirm your guide. 

Booking through the Tripolo App includes: 

  • Secure in-app payment 

  • A reservation summary 

  • Full access to in-app messaging with your guide 

  • Protection under Tripolo’s safety and support guidelines 

Before completing your booking, be sure to review the cancellation policy to understand your options. 

Your guide will receive your booking request immediately. 

 

5. Start planning your itinerary 

After your booking is made, your guide will confirm your trip within 24 hours. 

If the guide confirms: 

  • The app will prompt you to share your preferred places to visit 

  • You will also enter your pickup time and location 

  • In the meantime, you may message your guide for any special needs or questions 

Your guide will then create a personalized itinerary based on your interests, schedule, and inputs.
