Tripolo aims to make pricing simple and transparent. The price you see in the app reflects the guide’s service fee, which covers their time, expertise, and support throughout your trip. Additional costs vary depending on the activities you choose and are handled separately.
What the price includes
The price displayed in Tripolo includes:
The guide’s time and service
Personalized itinerary planning based on your preferences
On-the-ground support during your visit
Cultural and language assistance
Recommendations for food, activities, and hidden spots
This fee is charged when you book and is later released to the guide after your service is completed.
What the price does not include
The guide’s service fee does not cover any activity-related or travel-related expenses. Examples include:
Entrance tickets or admission fees
Meals and drinks
Public transportation fares (metro, taxi, bus, etc.)
Tickets for attractions, shows, museums, tours, or events
Activity-specific fees (workshops, classes, equipment rentals, etc.)
You may consult your guide if you need help understanding how to make reservations for activities. However, it is your responsibility to complete any required reservations, as the guide’s service fee does not include ticket purchases or booking fees.
These additional costs are paid directly by you at the time they occur.
Why prices are structured this way
Tripolo separates the guide’s service fee from other costs to give you:
Flexibility to choose or skip activities
Control over your budget
Transparency in how much you are paying for the guide versus external expenses
Freedom to change plans without being locked into a fixed package
This structure allows for a more personalized and adaptable trip.
Tipping
Tipping is optional. If you enjoyed your experience and would like to show appreciation to your guide, you may offer a tip after your trip, but it is not required.
