Tripolo guides help you navigate your destination with confidence by providing transportation guidance and language assistance throughout your planned travel day. This support is especially valuable when exploring unfamiliar cities or communicating in Chinese. 

 

1. Transportation guidance 

Your guide will help you choose the most efficient transportation options for your itinerary. This may include: 

  • Public transportation such as metro, buses, or taxis 

  • Walking routes to nearby locations 

  • Suggestions on the best times to travel to avoid congestion 

  • Advice on local transportation norms 

Public transportation costs are not included in the guide’s service fee and must be paid directly by you when they occur. 

If a guide offers a private vehicle, this will be clearly noted on their profile, and the private vehicle service is included in the guide’s fee. No additional transportation payment is required unless specified. 

 

2. Navigating cities with confidence 

Chinese cities can be large and complex, especially for first-time visitors. Your guide can assist by: 

  • Leading you along your planned route 

  • Helping you navigate metro systems and busy stations 

  • Providing real-time adjustments to avoid traffic or delays 

  • Recommending the safest and most efficient travel paths 

This helps reduce stress and keeps your day running smoothly. 

 

3. Language support and cultural assistance 

Your guide can help bridge language barriers and support you through a range of daily interactions, including: 

  • Speaking with locals on your behalf 

  • Ordering food or translating menus 

  • Purchasing tickets or asking for directions 

  • Understanding signs, schedules, and instructions 

  • Providing insights into cultural norms and expectations 

This support enhances your comfort while helping you engage more deeply with the local environment. 

 

4. When to expect guide support 

Transportation and language assistance are provided during the hours of your scheduled itinerary, typically up to 8 hours per day. 

Outside these hours, you may still message your guide, but response times may vary depending on their availability. 

For urgent matters, Tripolo Support is always available through the app. 

 

5. What’s not included 

Your guide’s service does not include: 

  • Public transportation fares (metro, taxi, bus, etc.) 

  • Additional vehicle services not listed in the guide’s profile 

  • Payment for your tickets, meals, or attraction fees 

Your guide may advise you on how to make reservations, but all activity-related bookings and expenses are your responsibility.
