Trip Date Changes

Trip dates cannot be changed once a booking is made. This is because guides reserve the day for your trip and begin preparing your itinerary as soon as your booking is confirmed. 

If your plans change and you need a different date, you will need to: 

  1. Cancel your current booking through the Tripolo App 

  2. Review the refund amount based on Tripolo’s Cancellation Policy 

  3. Rebook a new guide for the date you prefer 

The refund you receive—if any—depends on when you cancel relative to your scheduled trip date. 

 

Why trip dates cannot be changed 

  • Guides hold the date exclusively for your booking 

  • Itineraries and logistics may already be prepared 

  • Availability cannot be guaranteed for a new date 

  • Ensures fairness and consistency across the platform 

This policy helps maintain clarity for both travelers and guides.
